This legendary obstacle turns 15 this year. A longstanding favourite, Everest is the ultimate teamwork challenge. You can't reach the top on your own, but together, you and your team can reach new heights.

Trying to make it up our well-endowed pipe is hard enough - add slippery mud and a curved lip to 13 feet of steep and it's near impossible.

The only way to the summit is with the help of a friend. Don't fret, the top is filled with Mudders and volunteers willing to lend a hand. 

It looks daunting from the base, but just rev up, reach up, and let your fellow Mudders lift you up. It's bigger than it looks, so when you think you've run far enough, take a few more steps.

Remember you're running up the pipe, not at it. Try working on your speed and lower-body explosiveness to hit that incline fast enough to propel you up into the hands of your support squad.
